HandBrake DVD to MPEG-4 converter

HandBrake is based on people who volunteer their free time to contribute features, bug fixes and other improvements, as such, we are trying to make it easier to contribute.

We have created a mirror official subversion repository on GitHub HandBrake.

Hopefully this will make it easier for people to branch and fork the code and contribute patches for entry into the main repository.

Flash Player A player for Flash media files.

Flash Player is software for viewing animations and movies using computer programs such as a web browser. Flash Media Player is a widely distributed property and application player created by Macromedia and now developed and distributed by Adobe Systems following its acquisition. Flash Player runs SWF files that can be created by the tool in Adobe Flash, Adobe Flex or a series of Macromedia and third party tools.
Adobe Flash, or simply Flash, refers to both a multimedia authoring program and the Adobe Flash Player, written and distributed by Adobe, that uses vector graphics and bitmap, a native scripting language called ActionScript and bidirectional audio transmission and video. Strictly speaking, Flash is the authoring environment and Flash Player is the virtual machine used to run the Flash files, but in colloquial language have become mixed: "Flash" can mean either the authoring environment, the player, or application files.
Flash Player has support for embedded scripting language called ActionScript (AS), which is based on ECMAScript. Since its inception, ActionScript has matured from a script syntax without variables that supports object-oriented code, and you can now compare the capacity of JavaScript (ECMAScript-based language other scripts).
The Flash Player was originally designed to display two-dimensional vector animation, but it has become suitable for creating rich Internet applications and streaming video and audio. It uses vector graphics to minimize file size and create files that save bandwidth and loading time. Flash is a common format for games, animations, and GUIs embedded into web pages.
Flash Player is available as a plug-in for the latest versions of browsers (like Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Safari) on selected platforms. The plug-in is no longer necessary for integrated Google Google Chrome from the file in the distribution. Adobe says that each version of the plugin is compatible with previous versions, with the exception of the security changes introduced in version 10
